      <description>&lt;p&gt;Continuing the Legacy of Dr. King&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Each year the &lt;a href=&#34;http://www.mlkcoalition.org/&#34; title=&#34;Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition&#34;&gt;Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition&lt;/a&gt; coordinates a series of events on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The Coalition’s 44th annual MLK Day celebration in Cincinnati is on Monday, January 20, 2020.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dedicated to keeping Dr. King’s legacy vibrant in Cincinnati, the &lt;a href=&#34;http://www.mlkcoalition.org/&#34; title=&#34;Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition&#34;&gt;MLK Coalition&lt;/a&gt; presents a series of events for 2020. Events will focus on his message, how others have carried on in his footsteps, and carrying his dream forward today!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Brett Scott, conductor&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Originally premiered in 1969 for the dedication of Cincinnati’s Rockdale Temple, Dave Brubeck’s &lt;em&gt;The Gates of Justice&lt;/em&gt; was a co-commission by CCM and the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, with a premiere conducted by Erich Kunzel. The text is drawn from the Hebrew Bible, speeches of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Negro Spirituals, the writings of Hillel and lyrics by the composer’s wife, Iola Brubeck.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
